How to measure

General

Bust Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, without wearing a bra or anything padded.

Waist Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

Hips Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

Pants

Outseam Measurement: This is the length of the pants from the rise (where it sits on the waist), to the hem of the pants.

Inseam Measurement: This is the length of the pants from the crotch to the hem of the pants. This is generally the most accurate way of telling where the pants will sit on your legs (i.e. cropped, ankle length, etc.)

The Carter 2 Slim Pants are tailored work pants with a polished, professional look, cut to take you through the week in the office and out to dinner after.

The silhouette is the point: high waist, slim relaxed leg, tapering down to a cropped length, with front waist tucks and back waist darts shaping it. Medium weight 100% polyester, with a fixed waistband and belt loops. Tuck a shirt in, or wear a knit over the top and let the waistband sit.
