How to measure

General

Bust Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, without wearing a bra or anything padded.

Waist Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

Hips Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

Pants

Outseam Measurement: This is the length of the pants from the rise (where it sits on the waist), to the hem of the pants.

Inseam Measurement: This is the length of the pants from the crotch to the hem of the pants. This is generally the most accurate way of telling where the pants will sit on your legs (i.e. cropped, ankle length, etc.)

The Janis Straight Pants are relaxed straight-leg trousers for work — a clean, uncomplicated cut for office days, client meetings and dinner straight after. The same style also comes in Light Khaki if you want the lighter neutral.

The leg is straight rather than wide, so the pants keep a tidy line from the waist down. Wear them with a shirt tucked in on a formal day, or with a knit left out when the week is softer. They take a flat or a low heel just as easily.
