How to measure

General

Bust Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, without wearing a bra or anything padded.

Waist Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

Hips Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

Pants

Outseam Measurement: This is the length of the pants from the rise (where it sits on the waist), to the hem of the pants.

Inseam Measurement: This is the length of the pants from the crotch to the hem of the pants. This is generally the most accurate way of telling where the pants will sit on your legs (i.e. cropped, ankle length, etc.)

The Joy Satin Midi Skirt is a high-waisted satin midi skirt for the office and for evenings out, cut to sit at the waist and fall to mid-calf. It's easy with a t-shirt and just as easy with a dressier blouse.

Midi length is the point here: long enough to feel considered, short enough to walk in, finished with an invisible side zipper so nothing interrupts the line. The fabric is light to medium weight with a little stretch, and the skirt is lined under its silky satin surface.
