How to measure

General

Bust Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, without wearing a bra or anything padded.

Waist Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

Hips Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

Pants

Outseam Measurement: This is the length of the pants from the rise (where it sits on the waist), to the hem of the pants.

Inseam Measurement: This is the length of the pants from the crotch to the hem of the pants. This is generally the most accurate way of telling where the pants will sit on your legs (i.e. cropped, ankle length, etc.)

It is cut long enough to wear open over a dress or closed over a shell top, and the double breasted front gives the look its structure. Wear it with the sleeves pushed back and the buttons undone for an easier line, or fastened when you want it to read as a suit jacket.
