How to measure

General

Bust Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, without wearing a bra or anything padded.

Waist Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

Hips Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

Pants

Outseam Measurement: This is the length of the pants from the rise (where it sits on the waist), to the hem of the pants.

Inseam Measurement: This is the length of the pants from the crotch to the hem of the pants. This is generally the most accurate way of telling where the pants will sit on your legs (i.e. cropped, ankle length, etc.)

The Tessa Leather Belt is a leather belt built to finish an outfit — through the loops of work pants, over a knit for smart casual, or around a dress to mark the waist. It comes in black and cream.

Worn high on the waist or dropped low on the hip, it changes the line of whatever it sits over. Belted over an untucked shirt it shortens the body; worn low on a dress it does the opposite. Either way it reads as a finishing piece rather than a fastening.
