The waistband does the work here: high waisted with a button tab closure, a fly front zip and a side waist belt strap that adjusts over two buttons. There are two functional slant pockets at the front and two faux welt pockets at the back. The light to medium weight fabric has stretch through it, so the trousers move with a long day at a desk.
